GFCBW Atlanta Chapter’s President Michelle Jhu, Founding President Jackie Chen
and her husband Mike Wang, First Vice President Janice Lu, and member Wu Xingshu
went to Taiwan to attend the 2024 Global Chinese Business Women's Annual
Conference and the inauguration ceremony of the 13th GFCBW President. The year
2025 is also the 30th anniversary of the GFCBW.
The one-week program included the president's training class, the 10th Huaguan Award Ceremony, appointments between previous presidents and the president, the opening
ceremony, chapter association reports, presidential handover ceremony and a wonderful trip to Tainan as the after-conference trip. Our chapter’s participants gained a lot from this conference. Participants were moved, amazed, and impressed by the elegance of the highly accomplished women from our 88 chapters around the world. Participants could only feel very humble and encouraged to learn and grow more!
They also had a group photo with Ms. Ke Du (nicknamed Mother Ke Du), the Founding
President of GFCBW, and the honorary presidents and vice presidents of past 12 terms.
The 12th term President Zhuang Zhuwei made remarks of “Passing on the New,
Passing on the Legacy, and Passing on the Heart” and the newly appointed President
Shumin Lin said that “There is no Miracle, Only by accumulating the inheritance, love
and value and Inheriting the mission, loving the world, and innovating the pattern"
during the inauguration ceremony. Their remarks and words of encouragement remind
us of GFCBW’s mission and legacy. The Atlanta Chapter will once again take the global
association's "pursuit of excellence and selfless dedication" as its goal and continue to
serve, and to make great progress with it's members to the next level!
